“ My daughter lives in San Rafael. We come up from San Diego. Every time we visit we have a meal at Ping's. The food is good and so is the service. Our first time was a few years ago, we arrived late so we had to get take out as they were closing. We ordered the war wanton soup, took it to our hotel, and it was so good. Could not believe the amount of shrimp they put in take out soup. Since then we have stopped in several times and have always had a good experience. We always get the soup and the calamari with green beans, two of our favorites. We will continue going to Ping's whenever we visit here. ”
“ This restaurant is located in San Rafael in nice strip mall. The restaurant seems to be steady with their lunch crowds and more than likely because of their lunch plate menu whether it be a rice plate or noodle dish. You also get bowl of hot n sour soup. The servers instantly bring you tea and ice water. The service is too almost because once you order, you're given the soup and before eating half the soup, your lunch plate arrives. The restaurant is definitely pumping the food out as well as the customers LOL....once you've been given your meal then your get the check. The server will swipe the check and return it to you, but as far as checking in while you're still eating your meal to see if everything is good. That is not going to happen. But all in all, I've been there 3 days in row and will continue to go again while I'm out of town working. Good food, fair prices and good/clean restaurant. ”
